Prenatal Yoga

Movement is one of the best things you can do during your pregnancy to ease prenatal discomforts, keep your body systems functioning properly, improve sleep and energy levels and best of all…help prepare your female reproductive system for labor and position your baby for a more efficient birth!

This class is open to all levels, even those who have never taken a yoga class. We will also spend some time each class checking in with YOUR body in order to work with specific concerns and/or dysfunction you may be experiencing during your pregnancy. Deep Abdominal Breathing and Pelvic Floor work (strengthening AND relaxing) will be woven into each class as well as assessing postural changes and compensations in order to keep you safe and lessen the likelihood of problematic symptoms during the remainder of your pregnancy and into postpartum.
